Metropolis: In 2024, the number of registered second-hand public housing in Hong Kong reached a total of 1,171, the highest record ever.

According to the data from the Midland Property Research Center and the Land Registry, in 2024, the registration volume of second-hand public housing in Hong Kong (including the free market with topping-up land premium and the second market without topping-up land premium) recorded a total of 1,171 cases, a sharp increase of approximately 37.9% compared to the 849 cases in 2023.
