On October 17th, Gelonghui reported that Guangdong Power A (000539.SZ) announced that on October 16, 2024, Guangdong Grid Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Power Development Co., Ltd., invested in the construction of the Dongguan Ningzhou site replacement power supply project (referred to as the project) Unit 3 passed the 168-hour full-load trial operation, smoothly achieved grid connection and production, and officially entered commercial operation. At this point, the project's three 828MW gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration units are fully operational.

Guangluhui October 14th | Guangdong Electrical Utilities A (000539.SZ) announced that in the first three quarters of 2024, the company cumulatively completed a total generating capacity of 93.939 billion kilowatt-hours according to the consolidated financial statements, an increase of 2.72% year-on-year; of which coal power generation completed 68.424 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 5.49% year-on-year, gas power generation completed 19.335 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 31.76% year-on-year, wind power generation completed 3.587 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 5.90% year-on-year, hydroelectric power generation completed 0.339 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 14.14% year-on-year, and biomass power generation completed 0.495 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 4.44%.
