The company was founded in 1989 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1995, becoming one of the earliest listed companies in China's port industry and Guangxi. In 2013, the three ports of Qinbei were listed as a whole. After the three ports were listed as a whole, Beibu Gulf Port became the first enterprise in the country to complete regional port integration, and is the operator of the largest state-owned public terminal in Beibu Gulf region of Guangxi. The company is mainly engaged in port handling, storage and port value-added services for containers and bulk goods, port supporting services, etc. The company's main products are port handling and storage, tugboats, warehousing and agency services.
