Xingli Group has a toy department, a household goods department, a computer products department, and a timepiece department, and has operating offices in Hong Kong, mainland China and the United Kingdom. Toy department Herald Metal & Plastic Works Limited (Herald Metal & Plastic Works Limited) is currently the operating company of the Toys Division. The company was founded in 1969 by Mr. Zhang Tongsen, Mr. Boris Freiman, and the late Mr. George Bloch, and has now become a leading toy manufacturer with a factory in Dongguan. In the mid-1980s, Xingli Group diversified into other manufacturing fields through the acquisition of two other businesses - household goods and computer magnets. The Household Goods Division and its sales and distribution base in the UK Herald Houseware Limited (Herald Houseware Limited) produces high-grade aluminum cookware with protective coating. Pilot Housewares (UK) Limited is the Group's UK-based kitchenware sales and distribution company, accounting for more than one-third of the entire division's sales. Computer Products Division Herald Datanetics Limited (Herald Datanetics Limited) manufactures magnetic tape heads for computer storage drives, and is currently the main supplier of magnetic magnetic heads and thin-film magnetic heads. Recently, Xingli Computer is expanding its business scope to produce products related to other electronic data storage devices. Timepiece Division — Product R&D, manufacturing, promotion and sales In 1989, Hing Lee Group acquired a factory that produces clocks and radio alarms, and merged with the watch business of Hing Lee Group, a new organization called Herald Electronics Limited (Herald Electronics Limited). In early 1994, the Group acquired Zeon Ltd, the UK's largest watch importer and distributor. Zeon is a leader in the licensed sports watch, fashion watch and children's watch market, and has the Ingersoll trademark — one of the oldest and most well-known watch brands in British history.
