Xing Li Group has a toy department, a household goods department, a computer products department, and a timepiece department. It has operating agencies in Hong Kong, mainland China and the United Kingdom. Toy department Herald Metal & Plastic Works Limited (Herald Metal & Plastic Works Limited) is the operating company of the Toys Division. The company was founded in 1969 by Mr. Zhang Tongsen, Mr. Boris Freiman, and the late Mr. George Bloch. It is now a leading toy manufacturer and has a factory in Dongguan. In the mid-1980s, Xing Li Group diversified into other manufacturing fields by acquiring two other businesses - household goods and computer magnets. The Household Goods Department and its sales and distribution base in the UK Herald Houseware Limited (Herald Houseware Limited) manufactures kitchen utensils with a protective coating made of high-grade aluminum. Pilot Housewares (UK) Limited is the group's cookware sales and distribution company based in the UK. Its sales account for more than one-third of the entire division. Computer products department Herald Datanetics Limited (Herald Datanetics Limited) manufactures magnetic tape heads for computer storage drives and is currently the main supplier of magnetic heads and film heads. Recently, Xing Li Computer is expanding its business scope to produce other products related to electronic data storage equipment. Timepiece Department — product development, manufacturing, promotion and sales In 1989, Xing Li Group acquired a factory that produced clocks and radio alarms, and merged with the watch business of the Hing Li Group. This new agency was Herald Electronics Limited (Herald Electronics Limited). In early 1994, the Group bought Zeon Ltd, the largest importer and distributor of watches in the UK. Zeon is a leader in the market for licensed sports watches, fashion watches and children's watches, and has the Ingersoll trademark — one of the oldest and most well-known watch brands in British history.
