Wanda Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (stock code: 169) is an investment holding company. Its subsidiaries are mainly engaged in commercial real estate development, leasing, management and investment holding business. The company was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2002. In June 2013, Dalian Wanda Commercial Real Estate Co., Ltd. (“Dalian Wanda Commercial Real Estate”) officially became the controlling shareholder. The company also changed its name to Wanda Hotel Development Co., Ltd. in October 2014. The Group currently owns Fuzhou Hengli City and Guilin Wanda Plaza projects in China, and complex real estate projects overseas, such as London, England, Madrid, Spain, Chicago, USA, and Gold Coast in Australia. With the exception of the residential and commercial parts, these overseas complex real estate projects all have luxury hotels. With support from parent company Dalian Wanda Commercial Real Estate, the Group will continue to focus on international hub cities that can attract a large number of tourists, business trips, and a growing number of international tourists, and actively participate in the development and operation of hotel-oriented complex real estate projects. The Group plans to sell the residential portion, own the commercial portion and the hotel as an investment when market conditions are favorable, and entrust the hotel to Wanda's own brand (currently the relevant brands include, but are not limited to, Wanda Mandarin, Wanda Reiwa, and Wanda Royal) to operate. The Company anticipates that the Group's hotel development business will grow in the next few years and become an important part of the Group's business.
