Wangneng Environment to Buy Back Up to 200 Million Yuan Worth of Shares

On November 27, Gelonghui reported that Wangneng Environment (002034.SZ) recently stated in investor relations activities that the company will upgrade from waste reduction and harmless disposal to resource-oriented and high-value utilization. The company is expanding synergistic disposal projects such as slag and fly ash resource utilization to increase revenue. By mid-2024, four slag resource utilization projects in Shantou, Tongren, Huaibei, and Jingzhou have been put into operation, with a combined daily processing capacity of 2,300 tons; the Huzhou hydrogen-oxygen melting project, the Zhoushan oxygen-rich fly ash project, and the Lishui oxygen-rich fly ash project are actively being promoted, while the Shantou paper film granulation project has obtained preliminary documents such as project registration and environmental assessment approval.

Excluding projects under construction, the total processing capacity of officially operated projects is 0.0257 million tons, with most projects operating close to full capacity.
