About Shandong Minhe Animal Husbandry Company

The company's predecessor was the Shandong Penglai Broiler Demonstration Site of the Ministry of Agriculture. It was founded in 1985 and restructured in 1997. It has been recognized as a national key leading enterprise for agricultural industrialization, a national agricultural standardization demonstration zone, a national outstanding animal husbandry enterprise, a biosafety quarantine area for the first batch of broilers without highly pathogenic avian influenza, the vice chairman unit of the China Animal Husbandry Association, and the vice chairman unit of the National Livestock and Poultry Farming Waste Resource Treatment Science and Technology Innovation Alliance. The company's main business includes raising broilers for parents, production and sales of commercial chicken substitutes; breeding and slaughter and processing of commercial broilers; production and sales of chicken products; and resource development and utilization of organic waste. The company's main products are commercial broiler seedlings. In addition to personal use, commercial chicken seedlings are mainly sold to large breeding companies, large and medium-sized farmers, and distributors for commercial chicken breeding. Company honors include: 2009 China's Top 20 White Feather Broiler Enterprises, National Key Leading Enterprises, National Agricultural Standardization Demonstration Zone, and Yanhe City's Top 100 Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprises.
