New Century Group Hong Kong (HKG:0234) expects an attributable profit of at least HK$20 million for the year ended March 31, as compared to an attributable loss of HK$37 million a year prior, a Friday
New Century GP (00234.HK) announced that it expects annual net profit to be no less than HKD 20 million.
On June 7th, Gelunhui reported that New Century GP (00234.HK) expects to have a net profit attributable to shareholders of no less than 20 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending on March 31, 2024 ('the current year'). This is compared to a net loss attributable to shareholders of approximately 37 million Hong Kong dollars last year. The announcement stated that the reason for the expected turnaround in performance from loss to profit was mainly due to the cruise rental and leasing services business that incurred a loss of approximately 60 million Hong Kong dollars last year. The business was sold in the current year, generating approximately 10 million Hong Kong dollars in revenue from the sale.
