Established in 1900, Xianshi Group is one of the oldest and most famous department stores in Hong Kong. In the 1930s and 40s, it was known as the top four department stores in Shanghai. The Xianshi Group mainly focuses on the retail business. Adhering to the “do first work with sincerity” business approach, it searches for fashionable and high-quality products from around the world, including trendy clothing, handbags and shoes, outdoor sports goods, beauty products, household goods, electrical appliances, bedding, bathrooms, travel goods, food, etc., with a full range of products. Xianshi Department Store currently has five branches located in Causeway Bay, Central, Mongkok, Sham Shui Po and Tsuen Wan. The Mongkok branch covers an area of about 40,000 square feet. In 2012, we also cooperated with Watsons Group for the first time to open SU-PA-DE-PA, the first department store and supermarket in Hong Kong, a new 2-in-1 concept store in Yau Tong. In addition to focusing on retail business, Xianshi Group also diversifies businesses related to property investment, property development, and securities trading. As early as 1972, Xianshi Group was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. As shown in the August 2015 financial statements, the Group has recorded a net asset value of nearly HK$0.3 billion and currently employs more than 350 employees.
