China Resources Transportation Group Co., Ltd. is listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 00269). Its main business is to operate toll highways in Inner Mongolia by investing in Inner Mongolia Zhunxing Heavy-Duty Expressway Co., Ltd. (“Zhunxing”). Zhunxing has the exclusive right to operate the Zhunxing Expressway in Inner Mongolia for 30 years (not including the construction period). The Zhunxing Expressway is the first heavy-duty toll highway built specifically for coal transportation in the People's Republic of China (“China”). It extends 265 kilometers northeast from the west to Xinghe County, an important logistics hub for coal distribution in North China. It connects major coal supply and distribution areas in the region in the shortest, most convenient, and most economical way, and is of great strategic importance for energy logistics in North China. The highway was opened to traffic on November 21, 2013, and can carry 100 tons of heavy-duty trucks. Currently, most other highways in China can only carry 55 tons of trucks. The Group currently holds 86.87% of Zhunxing's shares. In addition, the Group is also engaged in forest operation and property development business. In terms of forest management, the Group has nearly 283,000 hectares of forest resources in Guyana in South America and Guangdong Province in China, and is carrying out harvesting and replanting activities in these regions. In terms of property development, the Group is developing a project in Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, covering a total area of 1,082 acres, with a construction area of about 0.8 million square meters. The project is progressing steadily, and pre-sale of residential properties began in mid-June 2011. The Group currently holds 45% of the shares in Yichang New Shougang Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., the property development branch of the project. The Group continues to seek investment opportunities to make the Group's operations more extensive and in-depth, and it is anticipated that new investments will bring excellent results in the near future.
