Formerly known as Jingfu Gold Shop, the founder of Jingfu Group, Mr. Yang Zhiyun, started his business at 5 Bonham East Street, Sheung Wan, on October 8, 1949, and initially focused only on gold refining and gold bar trading. The purpose of the group is “loyalty, diligence and dedication”. Ten years later, the business expanded to retail business, selling gold jewellery and jewellery. The first store was located in Miramar Shopping Mall as a branch in Kowloon, and began selling watches the following year. In 1965, Jingfu Gold & Jewelry (Kowloon) Co., Ltd. was officially incorporated. In 1971, the group opened the first large-scale gold jewelry, jewelry and watch store, Jingfu Jewelry, in the Jingfu Building in Central, and changed the Kowloon store to a limited company in 1973 to expand its business and increase sales of foreign gifts. In March 1988, Jingfu Group Co., Ltd. was officially listed and traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, becoming a listed company, entering another new era. Over the years, the long-established brand “Jingfu” has been rooted in the hearts of the older generation of customers, but high-quality customers still need to have a deeper understanding of the brand. As a result, after Hong Kong returned to China in 1997, the group decided to reform and invest new resources to open a high-end jewellery and watch concept store called Luxury by King Fook. The first Branded by Kingfook store opened in 1999 in Taikoo Plaza, the center of brands. The store's design style was innovative, introducing the latest diamond jewelry from various foreign brands and their own brand 360 series. The concept behind KINGFOOK was well received in the industry, so the group opened two more branches in Central Construction Building and Tsim Sha Tsui in 2000 to facilitate customer shopping. For over 60 years, Jingfu Jewelry has been famous for its outstanding quality and professional and strict service attitude. Today, Kyungbok Jewelry continues to forge the highest quality jewelry with exquisite craftsmanship, high-quality materials and strict processes to meet customer requirements. In 2010, a new branded watches and jewellery specialty store opened simultaneously at The One and China Construction Building in Tsim Sha Tsui; in the same month, the Group also opened a new Jingfu Jewelry branch at Fort Royal in Causeway Bay. In 2012, it expanded operations at Park Ninh Hotel, Causeway Bay, Jingfu Jewelry Branch, and reopened at Mira Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui.
