About CULTURECOM HOLD Company

Culture Communications Group is a company listed on the main edition of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00343.HK). As currently one of the largest comic content providers in Asia, Culture Communication has a history of more than 40 years in the comic business. Over the years, cultural transmission has been adhering to the concept of “promoting Chinese culture and promoting social progress”. Using advanced technology to seek new breakthroughs in the field of culture, it aspires to become the most respected cultural and creative enterprise. Since the 70s of the last century, our comics have become popular among hundreds of millions of teenagers in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Chinese regions around the world. Culture Communication has more than 200 comic copyright patents, covering a wide range of categories, from martial arts action to modern romance, to meet the needs of all kinds of comic fans. Manga that conveys culture is not limited to the mainland, and we are also the first Hong Kong company in China to be officially authorized by Japan (Chishu, Dragon Ball, Doraemon, etc.) and Western comics. In addition to publishing comics, Culture Communication also authorized China NetDragon from Taiwan to develop “Chinese Hero Online Game” in 2009. The game set a brilliant record of NT$1.7 billion (US$58.31 million) in revenue within two years, setting a record for the highest revenue in the Southeast Asian film and television industry and the animation industry. It can be seen that our animation copyright has the potential to generate revenue. Cultural transmission has also made major breakthroughs in the development of science and technology. In 1999, Zhu Bangfu, the “father of Chinese computers”, joined Cultural Communication, leading the development of cultural technology business and building Chinese information infrastructure projects. Chinese input on the Windows interface has been implemented. In July 2003, Culture Communication and International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) jointly developed the world's first embedded Chinese chip “Feilong CPU”. In 2005, it purchased Crusoe core processor technology from the famous American chip manufacturer Quanmei, becoming the first foreign company to challenge the transfer of the core technology of American CPUs In 2011, Culture Communication Group joined forces with Jay Chou, the king of Asia, to create Ucan.com. Ucan combines advanced cloud technology, Jay Chou's creative talent and culture to convey huge comic assets, and strives to create opportunities and a platform for entrepreneurs and dreamers to realize their dreams. With the continuous development of social media, as users seek multiple ways to express and share, we can anticipate that global development has become inevitable. The era of social gaming has arrived, and as more and more users join mobile platforms, an emerging industry has sprung up to try to capitalize on the huge potential in the interactive multimedia entertainment market — including cultural communication. Culture Communication and China NetDragon (TWSE: 3083) will jointly develop a mobile game (APP) using Wenchuan's comic patent trademark “China Hero”. The mobile game is scheduled to be launched globally in the third quarter of 2013, increasing our confidence in developing copyright for other comics in the later stages while also bringing huge profits. In the future, cultural transmission will continue to lead Chinese culture into the mainstream, integrate creative culture into advanced technology, help individuals achieve their ideals, and strive to promote social innovation. We hope to use technology to advance society, change the world with creativity, and light up the future with dreams.
