Hainan Meilan International Airport Co., Ltd. (“Meilan Airport” or the “Company” or the “Company”) was incorporated as a company limited by shares in the People's Republic of China (“China”) on December 28, 2000. H shares were issued and listed on the main board (“Main Board”) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (“Hong Kong Stock Exchange”) on November 18, 2002. On November 6, 2003, it was approved by China's Ministry of Commerce and became a foreign-invested company limited by shares. On March 2, 2015, the name was officially changed from “Hainan Meilan International Airport Co., Ltd.” to “HNA Infrastructure Co., Ltd.” On August 9, 2018, the name was officially changed from “HNA Infrastructure Co., Ltd.” to “Ruigang International Airport Group Co., Ltd.” On November 20, 2019, the name was officially changed from “Ruigang International Airport Group Co., Ltd.” to “Hainan Meilan International Airport Co., Ltd.” Currently, the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”) operate aviation and non-aviation businesses at Meilan Airport in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China. The aviation business mainly includes the provision of terminal facilities, ground handling services and passenger services; the non-aviation business mainly includes the rental of commercial and retail spaces at Meilan Airport, airport-related business franchises, advertising spaces, parking lots, cargo handling, and sales of consumer goods.
