Mei Ah Entertainment News (00391.HK) expects a mid-term shareholder loss of about 30 million to 40 million Hong Kong dollars.
Grace news on November 22nd, Mei Ah Entertainment (00391.HK) announced that the group expects a shareholder net loss of approximately HK$30,000,000 to HK$40,000,000 for the six months ending September 30, 2024, compared to a loss of approximately HK$4,500,000 for the corresponding period in 2023. The main reasons for this change include: (i) a decrease in revenue from the segment 'theater chain and film copyright licensing and transfer' due to a reduction in the number of films delivered and completed during this period as several media platform contracts reached a stage of completion; (ii) launches by the group during this period.
