Gelonghui, on March 16, reported that SC HOLDINGS (00413.HK) announced that for the financial year ending December 31, 2024, the group expects to record a net profit of approximately 10 million HKD, compared to a net loss of approximately 42 million HKD in the previous year. This is mainly due to (i) the recovery in consumer demand for toy products, which has improved the performance of Trade and Business operations; (ii) the average interest rate this year has decreased compared to the previous year, resulting in reduced financial expenses; and (iii) an increase in the gains from the sale of subsidiaries recognized this year compared to last year.
