New Silkroad Reports Increased Revenue but Higher Losses
New Silkroad Culture & Tourism Group Limited (00472.HK) increased its interim earnings by 109.0% to approximately HKD 0.283 billion.
On July 25th, GeLongHui reported that New Silkroad Culture (00472.HK) announced that for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, the revenue increased by 109.0% to approximately HKD 282.7 million. This is because the revenue of the property management service during the period includes one to June, which is a significant increase compared to the same period last year, which only included May and June. The net loss after tax for the period increased by 234.7% to approximately HKD 62.2 million. The loss attributable to owners of the company increased to approximately HKD 51.9 million (same period last year: HKD 12.2 million).
