On March 13, Gelonghui announced that SUCCESSUNIVERSE (00487.HK) expects the group's unaudited consolidated profit for the year ending December 31, 2024, to decrease by approximately 40% to 50%, compared to an audited consolidated profit of about HKD 0.169 billion in the same period last year. The decrease in consolidated profit is primarily due to the following factors: (i) a significant increase in fair value losses on investment properties by the group for the year ending December 31, 2024, as well as a write-down of the book value of the group's property inventory; (ii) in the year ending December 31, 2024, the group was classified as leasing land and buildings for properties, plants, and equipment.
