Pearl River Shipping Enterprise (Stock) Co., Ltd. (“Pearl River Shipping”) is a Hong Kong listed company controlled by Pearl River Shipping Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Pearl River Group”), and is a subsidiary of Guangdong Shipping Group Co., Ltd. (“Provincial Aviation Group”). The Provincial Aviation Group is one of the largest enterprise groups in Guangdong Province, and is one of the seven leading logistics enterprises in Guangdong Province. In October 2006, it was rated as the fourth 5A comprehensive service logistics enterprise with shipping business as the core in the country. Pearl River Group was officially established on October 18, 1962. According to the strategic position of “based in Hong Kong, based on the mainland, and facing the world”, Pearl River Shipping has actively developed domestic and overseas markets for nearly half a century, successfully tackled challenges over and over again with perseverance, and achieved a leap from “physical operation” to “capital operation”. The industrial structure changed to a business pattern of “three main businesses and eight businesses”, and the scale and benefits of the industry continued to grow, creating good economic and social benefits. On May 23, 1997, Pearl River Shipping Enterprise (Stock) Co., Ltd., which it controls, was successfully listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 00560), marking that Pearl River Group has fully entered a new stage of development combining asset management and production and operation. Currently, the Pearl River Group operates shipping logistics between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta, high-speed waterway passenger transport and passenger ship trading and repair, as well as businesses such as refined oil products, duty-free trade and supply, highway infrastructure investment and management, real estate development, and maritime consulting. The “CKS” brand cultivated by Pearl River Shipping enjoys high popularity and influence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao high-speed passenger transport and port logistics markets. Pearl River Shipping operates and manages the world's largest high-speed passenger fleet and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau water passenger transport network. It is based in Hong Kong and covers more than 10 cities in the Pearl River Delta and Macau, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shunde, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Jiangmen and Macau. Pearl River Shipping is also one of the largest inland waterway port terminals and logistics operators in the Pearl River Delta. With Hong Kong as its operating center, the network covers more than 20 cities in the Pearl River Delta, including Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, Foshan, Guangzhou, Jiangmen, etc., providing services including inland waterway terminal operations, integrated logistics, international freight and supply chain solutions.
