On January 17th, according to the announcement by CHK OIL (00632.HK), the company entered into a loan settlement agreement with Xinhua, under which the parties conditionally agreed to allocate and issue 12,048,192 capitalized shares to Xinhua at a subscription price of HKD 0.415 per share (a premium of approximately 5.06% compared to the closing price of HKD 0.395 reported by the Stock Exchange on the last trading day) to partially repay the total principal amount of HKD 5,000,000 under the loan issued by Xinhua.
