About SHANSHUI CEMENT Company

The Company was incorporated as an exempted limited company in the Cayman Islands on April 26, 2006. The Company completed the restructuring on September 6, 2007, and became the Group's ultimate holding company, and was listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange on July 4, 2008 (stock code: 00691). The Company holds 100% of the shares in China Shanshui (Hong Kong) and has not operated any business since the date of registration. China Shanshui (Hong Kong) is a limited company incorporated in Hong Kong and holds 100% of Pioneer Cement's shares; Pioneer Cement is a limited company incorporated in Hong Kong and holds 100% of Shandong Shanshui's shares, and is the sole shareholder of Shandong Shanshui. Shandong Shanshui is a wholly foreign-owned limited company established by Pioneer Cement in Jinan City, Shandong Province, China in 2005 through an equity acquisition in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations. Shandong Shanshui is a large enterprise group with the production of cement and clinker as the main industry, integrating production and sales of commercial mixing, aggregates, plastic weaving, mechanical manufacturing and maintenance, and new wall materials. It is headquartered in Jinan City, Shandong Province. Shandong Shanshui Group has six operating regions, Ludong, Luxi, Lunan, Northeast, Shanxi, and Xinjiang. Currently, it has 114 subsidiary companies distributed in 10 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) including Shandong, Liaoning, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang, forming a market pattern of “North-South interaction” between Shandong and Northeast China and “east-west echo” between Shandong and Shanxi, giving full play to its market advantages. While expanding and strengthening the main cement business, Shandong Shanshui Group is actively implementing the “cement +” business development model, shifting from expanding the scale of a single product to diversifying products. At present, the prototype of the entire industry chain, such as aggregates, mechanical sand, commercial concrete, cement products, prefabricated building components, and cement equipment, has begun to take shape. High-grade cement and commercial clinker are the Group's leading products. Brand cement such as “Shanshui Dongyue”, “Shanshui Engineering Source”, and “Bohai” enjoys a high reputation in China, and is widely used in key national projects such as the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail, the Jiaozhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, the Qingdao Undersea Tunnel, and Haiyang Nuclear Power. Over the years, the Group has successively been awarded honorary titles such as National Building Materials System Advanced Collective, National May 1st Labor Award, National Model Workers' Home, Shandong Civilized Unit, Shandong High-end Brand Cultivating Enterprise, etc., and has been ranked among the top 20 Chinese building materials enterprises and the “Fortune” China Top 500 list for many years.
