Deposited my weekly $220. Today I’ve decided to add more shares of TORM ( $Torm (TRMD.US)$ ). Shipping market will be positive in the next few years due to geopolitical tensions and increased ton-mile. Torm shares are at the minimum levels now.
I also added shares of STM ( $STMicroelectronics (STM.US)$ ). I decided to add shares of semiconductor producer due to high demand in semiconductors.
My Top Winner is still Tencent (+56%) since acquisition.

China Services Growth Rebounds on Strong Supply and Demand, Caixin PMI Shows

This is good news going into the NPC meeting.
China's services industry picked up substantially in October as per Caixin.
That's a 52.0 reading, up from 50.3 in September. It's also significantly better than the 50.5 that was expected.
It raises the Caixin PMI Composite reading to 51.9, up from 50.3 in September. Also good news.

Nomura Raises TENCENT TP to $500; 3Q Non-IFRS NP May Rise 23% YoY

Nomura released a report, projecting TENCENT's 3Q24 total revenue to rise 8% YoY, in line with street consensus. The 3Q24 non-IFRS net profit was expected to hike 23% YoY, 3% above street consensus, given ongoing margin expansion. The company’s gross margin is likely to improve by 4 ppts YoY to 53.6% in 3Q24, higher than the market expectation of 53.4%, thanks to the shift in the revenue mix towards high-margin businesses.
