Winding Up-Petition Hearing Against Huscoke Further Adjourned
HUSCOKE HLDGS (00704.HK): The hearing for the winding-up petition has been further postponed.
On December 11, Gelonghui reported that HUSCOKE HLDGS (00704.HK) announced that the company has received a winding-up petition from CHINA CINDA (Hong Kong) Asset Management Limited. As disclosed in the announcement, the hearing for the petition was originally scheduled to be adjourned to December 11, 2024, at the High Court of Hong Kong. At the hearing, upon the petitioner's request, the High Court ordered the hearing of the petition to be further adjourned to February 5, 2025. The company is currently engaging in amicable negotiations with the petitioner regarding the settlement of the petition and has reached a preliminary consensus on a settlement plan with the petitioner.

Gelonghui November 19th | Huscoke Hldgs (00704.HK) announced that the board of directors expects the group to record a loss of approximately HKD 15.974 million for the six months ending September 30, 2024, compared to a loss of approximately HKD 21.768 million for the same period ending September 30, 2023, a decrease of about 27%. The main difference is due to (i) during this reporting period, the group gained exchange gains on a receivable asset due to changes in the RMB and USD exchange rates, resulting in a loss recorded in the same period in 2023; and (ii) during this reporting period, the group's professional expenses decreased significantly, thus the loss for this reporting period is lower than last year.
