Kamdank Solar Group is a professional solar silicon rod, silicon ingot and silicon wafer manufacturer based in China and Malaysia, focusing on the design, development, manufacture and sale of high-quality solar silicon wafers. We are one of the first manufacturers in China that can mass-produce N-type monocrystalline solar wafers with a thickness of about 140 microns through certification from foreign customers. In 2000, we became one of the leading manufacturers of semiconductor wafers, and began producing solar wafers in 2004. As demand for the high-quality solar products we produce grows, we have turned our focus to the solar industry. We have successfully transferred advanced technology in semiconductor chip production, as well as our accumulated knowledge and manufacturing experience to the production of solar products, so we can provide customers with high-quality products. We give full play to the advantages originating from semiconductor chip manufacturers, and concentrate resources to improve product quality and develop new and technologically innovative solar wafers. With outstanding R&D capabilities and semiconductor chip manufacturing experience, we have developed unique long crystal and ingot cutting processes and improved energy efficiency. We believe that long-term success in the solar industry mainly depends on product quality and cost competitiveness, which boils down to the adoption of excellent manufacturing processes, so we are committed to investing significant resources in the development of new technologies and continuous improvement programs. The Company successfully listed (IPO) on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 30, 2009. As the only solar company that successfully completed its initial public offering on major stock exchanges in 2009 despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, we received support from investors around the world to further implement our production expansion plans. By the end of 2009, it had achieved production capacity of 200 MW/year. We have built core production bases in Shanghai and the Hai'an Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, expanding the total production capacity to about 600 MW. Plans to expand production are also under construction, and the new plant will be located in Malaysia. With the completion of the capacity increase plan, we aim to expand our global customer base and become a leader in the monocrystalline silicon wafer production market.
