The Group is mainly engaged in hotel investment and operation and property investment business. The Company was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited on January 16, 1998. After industrial restructuring over the past few years, the Group has initially carried out various aspects of strengthening the Group's existing operating policies under the new thinking of the new management. Under the management concept of continuous internal reflection and careful evaluation of the external environment, the Group has carried out optimized asset portfolio restructuring such as “making up the bottom” and “eliminating weaknesses and retaining strength” in the original industrial portfolio. After restructuring the asset portfolio, as of June 2015, the Group only retained the commercial building located in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. The Group completed the acquisition of a comprehensive commercial and residential project located in a major commercial center in Zhongshan City in June 2015, with a total acquisition cost of HK$1,008,000,000. The integrated commercial and residential project is located at No. 69, Zhongshan 3rd Road, East District, Zhongshan City. It includes two 28-story residential buildings covering an area of about 10,533 square meters, built on a 4-story retail platform and a 2-story basement. The transportation network and infrastructure facilities in Zhongshan City have been improved, and commercial and residential space rents have continued to rise as a result. The property is located in the main commercial center of South China in Zhongshan City and is expected to bring beautiful prospects to the Group. In the 2015 financial year, the Group recorded a profit attributable to the equity holders of the Company of HK$155,100,000 (FY2014: net loss of HK$45,300,000). The total comprehensive profit attributable to equity holders of the Company is HK$120,300,000 (FY2014: Total comprehensive loss HK$48,300,000).
