China United Network Communications (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) was incorporated in Hong Kong on February 8, 2000, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 21 and 22, 2000, respectively. On June 1, 2001, the Company's shares were officially included in the Hang Seng Index. The company officially merged with China Netcom Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. on October 15, 2008.
