Bocom Intl released a research report stating that Fortune Real Estate Investment Trust (00778) had a 0.6% QoQ decrease in performance revenue in the first half of 2024, to HKD 0.872 billion (compared to HKD 0.877 billion in the second half of 2023). Net property revenue increased by 0.9% QoQ to HKD 0.633 billion (compared to HKD 0.628 billion in the second half of 2023). DPU for the first half of 2024 was HKD 0.1823 per unit, roughly in line with the market expectation of a full-year DPU of HKD 0.36. The report also states that Fortune has a dividend yield of nearly 10%. The first half of 2024 showed stable performance, roughly in line with market expectations, in the face of increasing consumer demand from the north.

Citigroup's report stated that the fortune real estate investment trust's distributable income per unit (DPU) fell 19% annually in the first half of the year, but rose 1% annually to HKD 0.1823 for half a year, with a payout ratio of 100%, in line with expectations. The bank expects that the fortune real estate investment trust's distributable income per unit will fall 9% annually in the current fiscal year, based on narrowing rental declines, moderate recovery in dining and service industries, and partially offsetting the negative impact of real estate agencies and kindergartens starting in 2023. The bank has lowered its forecast for the fortune real estate investment trust's distributable income per unit by 9-18% between 2024 and 2026, and reduced its target price from HKD 5.72.
