In the year 2023, the sales scale of the top 100 supermarkets in China was 868 billion yuan, with a total of 0.0238 million stores, a decrease of 7.3% and 16.2% respectively compared to the previous year's top 100 supermarkets.
Jingkelong (00814) will no longer establish a supervisory board.
Zhītōng Cáijīng APP news, Jingkelong (00814) released a statement that according to the new company law, a joint-stock limited company can set up an audit committee composed of directors in accordance with the company's articles of association to exercise the supervisory board's powers instead of setting up a supervisory board. As suggested in the circular, the proposal to revise the company's articles of association includes the cancellation of the supervisory board and other matters. Therefore, after the amendments to the company's articles of association are approved by the shareholders at the 2023 annual shareholders meeting, the company will no longer establish a supervisory board from July 1, 2024. The supervisors have submitted their resignations to the supervisory board and will resign from the supervisory board from July 1, 2024.
