Majestic Dragon AeroTech Predicts Steep Losses for 2024
Longwing Aviation Technology (00918.HK) issues a profit warning: expecting a net loss of 15 million to 17 million Hong Kong dollars for the mid-term.
Glory Exchange reported on November 22 that Longwing Aviation Technology (00918.HK) announced that the group expects to record an unaudited consolidated net loss attributable to shareholders of approximately 15 million to 17 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2024 ("first half of 2024"), compared to a loss of approximately 2.1 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2023. The board of directors believes that the increase in net loss is mainly due to (i) a decrease in revenue of approximately 73.9 million Hong Kong dollars; and (ii) an increase in selling and distribution expenses and administrative expenses of approximately 7.8 million Hong Kong dollars.
