Chaowei Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), together with its subsidiaries, is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of lead-acid power batteries, lithium-ion batteries and other related products. The products are mainly used in electric bicycles, electric tricycles and special purpose electric vehicles. The Group is headquartered in Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, the People's Republic of China (“China”), and production facilities are strategically distributed in regions with high demand for lead-acid power batteries, including Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hebei provinces. The Group's main customers in the primary market include top electric bicycle manufacturers, while the distribution network in the secondary market spans all provinces and regions of China. In the primary market, the Group provides original batteries to most well-known electric bicycle manufacturers in China. The Group has fully eliminated cadmium production by the end of 2013 and fulfilled the social responsibility of a “green enterprise”.
