On February 12, the group announced that GREEN ENERGY GP (00979.HK) expects to record a loss attributable to the company owners of approximately 6.5 million to 8.5 million HKD for the six months ending December 31, 2024, compared to about 4.6 million HKD for the six months ending December 31, 2023. The Board of Directors believes that the increase in losses is mainly due to the decline in gross margin of the Wind Power business segment caused by rising raw material purchase costs, resulting in a net loss for that segment.
