Glory Financial reported on February 13 that GREEN ENERGY GP (00979.HK) announced it will hold a Board of Directors meeting on February 27, 2025 (Thursday) to (including) review and approve the interim results for the six months ending December 31, 2024, and its publication, as well as consider the distribution of an interim dividend (if any).
GREEN ENERGY GP (00979.HK) warns of a profit warning: expects a net loss of 6.5 million to 8.5 million Hong Kong dollars for the interim period.
On February 12, the group announced that GREEN ENERGY GP (00979.HK) expects to record a loss attributable to the company owners of approximately 6.5 million to 8.5 million HKD for the six months ending December 31, 2024, compared to about 4.6 million HKD for the six months ending December 31, 2023. The Board of Directors believes that the increase in losses is mainly due to the decline in gross margin of the Wind Power business segment caused by rising raw material purchase costs, resulting in a net loss for that segment.
