AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Limited (“AEON Stores”) was established in December 1985 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 1994. Its main business is to operate integrated shopping department stores (GMS), providing customers with value for money and a full range of daily necessities. AEON Stores founded the first JUSCO Kornhill store in Taikoo in 1987 (now AEON Kornhill), and has since opened branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories. AEON has been actively developing diversified businesses and expanding market areas. It has successively opened independent supermarkets AEON SUPERMARKET, Living PLAZA by AEON, Japanese bento specialty stores Bento Express by AEON, indoor playgrounds Molly Fantasy and La Bohéme bakery, introducing a wide variety of products and services, bringing great convenience to the public. In addition, AEON Department Store launched the JUSCOCITY Online Shopping Mall (now AEONCITY) in 2000 to allow customers to enjoy online shopping. Currently, AEON has opened 9 integrated shopping department stores (GMS), 4 independent supermarkets, 28 independent Living PLAZA by AEON, 6 Bento Express by AEON and 2 La Bohéme Bakeries in the densely populated areas of Hong Kong, as well as 21 GMS, 5 independent supermarkets and 3 shopping malls in Guangdong Province. AEON Stores aims to develop a chain business in Hong Kong, and we strive to provide value-for-money products to local customers.
