[Brokerage Focus] Orient Securities maintains a buy rating on Lenovo Group (00992) with personal computer global market share increasing, ISG revenue reaching a new high.
Jingwu Finance News | Orient Securities issued a research report, stating that Lenovo Group (00992) saw a 22% and 41% increase in revenue and net income attributable to shareholders in the first half of the fiscal year, with growth of 24% and 44% to $1.785 billion and $359 million in the second quarter. Free cash flow in the second quarter was $0.74 billion, nearly 6 times higher. The report pointed out that the IDG Smart Device Business Group's revenue in the first half of the fiscal year increased by 15%, mainly due to the strong performance of personal computers and smart phone markets as well as the rapid rise of AI personal computers with five characteristics. Personal computer revenue rose by 12% year-on-year, with global market shipments.
