Glory Financial announced on November 25 that chinlink intl (00997.HK) expects to record a consolidated loss of no less than 0.225 billion Hong Kong dollars for the six-month period ending September 30, 2024. This loss is expected to be greater compared to the six-month period ending September 30, 2023, primarily due to: (i) the economic situation has not improved since the cancellation of COVID-19 restrictions at the beginning of 2023, resulting in a decline in income from financial guarantees and other financing services as well as real estate investment business; and (ii) significant losses in the fair value changes of investment properties due to a sluggish real estate market.
