APT Satellite Reports Decline in Mid-Year Earnings
APT Satellite (01045.HK) had a shareholder's attributable net profit of HKD 0.102 billion in the first half of the year, a decrease of 13.72% compared to the same period last year.
APT Satellite (01045.HK) announced on August 22 that the group's revenue for the first half of 2024 was HKD 391,842,000, a decrease of 6.64% compared to the same period last year. The main reason for the decrease in revenue was the decrease in revenue from satellite transponder capacity during the period. The shareholders' attributable profit was HKD 101,660,000, a decrease of 13.72% compared to the same period last year. The basic earnings per share and diluted earnings per share were both 10.95 HK cents. The Board of Directors has decided to distribute interim dividends at a rate of 4.50 HK cents per ordinary share (5.00 HK cents per ordinary share in the same period last year).
