Nanyue Holdings Co., Ltd. (former name: Guangdong Tannery Co., Ltd.) was established in 1995 and successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the following year. On June 30, 2015, the company had total consolidated assets of HK$699 million and net assets of HK$340 million. Yuehai Tannery Co., Ltd. is mainly wholly owned by three subsidiaries in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, namely Xuzhou Nanhai Leather Factory Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Gangwei Leather Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Tannery (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. (“Xuzhou Production Base”). The company has always adhered to the concept of compliant management and honest operation. In 2014, it was selected as an honest enterprise in the “Top 10 Cowhide Upper Leather Ranking” by “China Leather” magazine, and continuously pursues technological progress and technological innovation. It was selected by World Leather Magazine as one of the two outstanding tanneries in China and the best recommended tannery in China in 2013 and won the world's only annual tannery innovation award. The Xuzhou production base introduces advanced tannery technology and production and R&D equipment from countries such as Italy, the United States and Japan to produce imported and domestically produced high-quality cowhide leather, with a maximum annual production capacity of 48 million square feet.
