Feida Hat Industry Holdings Limited was founded in 1986 and listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2000. It is the only listed hat manufacturer in the world. It is mainly engaged in the design, production and sale of high-quality casual hats. The group is headquartered in Hong Kong, China, and has factories in Shenzhen, Panyu and Bangladesh, China, and produces casual hats with patented brands or trademarks. Most of the products are sold in overseas markets. The main market is the United States, followed by Europe. The Group's business involves manufacturing, trade and retail. Through mergers and acquisitions and the establishment of strong alliances to expand the business, the Group (i) signed a manufacturing agreement with New Era Cap Co., Inc. (“New Era”), established a long-term business partnership relationship to ensure a stable source of orders, and jointly opened the first New Era specialty store in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, laying the foundation for further cooperation in retail business; (ii) establishing Drew Pearson International in the UK; (ii) establishing Drew Pearson International in the UK (Europe) Limited (“DPI”) as a sales branch in the European market; (iii) indirectly owns 85% of the shares of H3 Sportgear LLC (“H3 Sportgear”) through acquisition to become a distribution and trade branch in the US; (iv) through the acquisition of 100% of San Diego Hat Company's share capital interests to expand the range of products and develop the high-end women's clothing and hats market; (v) acquires the Group's outsourced plant in Bangladesh Unimas Sportswear Limited (“Unimas”) holds 80% of the shares to improve production flexibility at a lower cost; and (vi) established a joint venture with Futureview Investment Limited in Hong Kong, China, to obtain the right to develop, manufacture and sell all Sanrio's cartoon character products in China.
