Qingling Motors (Group) Co., Ltd. is a key enterprise in China's automobile industry. It is an enterprise group engaged in commercial truck manufacturing composed of Qingling Motor Co., Ltd., the core enterprise of Sino-Japanese joint ventures and overseas listings, and 17 subsidiaries and branches, with a total of 18 enterprises, 14 of which are Sino-foreign joint ventures. Total assets of 13.2 billion yuan, net assets of 10.5 billion yuan. Currently, it mainly produces Isuzu's full range of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles with advanced international technology and quality, as well as 5 series diesel engines and 1 series gasoline engine with power ranging from 95 horsepower to 380 horsepower. The predecessor of Qingling, the Chongqing Automobile Factory, began to produce vehicles modeled after Jiefang's “Yamashiro” brand in 1969; established the first Sino-foreign joint venture in Chongqing in 1985; went overseas to issue shares in 1994; in 1997, it went overseas to issue convertible bonds; in 2005, Japan's Isuzu increased capital and expanded shares of Qingling Motor Co., Ltd., and China and Japan implemented joint management to comprehensively deepen cooperation in technology, management, market, capital, etc.; in recent years, opening up to the outside world has taken a new strategic step. Isuzu Global Strategic Models - International Advanced The technical heavy duty vehicle and heavy vehicle engine project settled in Qingling. Since construction of the heavy vehicle and heavy vehicle engine project began in February 2013, China and foreign countries have overcome difficulties and progressed quickly and steadily. The first phase of the project (one series of heavy vehicles, one series of engines) is fully integrated: the first heavy vehicle engine went offline in March this year, the first heavy vehicle went offline in April, and the first batch of 12 test vehicles were delivered to customers in May, and unveiled at the Chongqing Auto Show in June. The initial localization rate of these heavy vehicles and heavy engines reached more than 85%. The second phase of the project (another series of heavy vehicles and engines) is in preparation for launch. Qingling uses advanced technology to transform traditional industries, build a manufacturing system with development functions, and form a complete process manufacturing chain from manufacturing blanks, parts, and assemblies to vehicle assembly. It has manufacturing capabilities for 3 types of basic blanks: casting, forging, and cast aluminum, and 6 types of key assemblies for engines, transmissions, cabs, front/rear axles, and frames. It has six major mold development, body and chassis development, partial engine development, material development, process tooling development, and physical and chemical inspection and testing capabilities for thin plates, medium plates, casting, forging, aluminum and plastic. Among automobile companies in the country, Qingling ranked first in terms of per capita labor productivity, per capita sales, and profit per capita; in 2010, it won the “Top 10 Chinese Trucks” and ranked 5th; it won the “First Chongqing Mayor's Quality Management Award”; it was rated as the “Top 50 Industrial Enterprises in Chongqing” for 20 consecutive years, of which it ranked first for 8 years.
