The Group is the first Chinese-language film production company to successfully enter Hollywood and make a name for itself, and plays an important role in the industry. The English-language blockbusters produced by the Group as an independent producer have also achieved unprecedented success in Hollywood; more importantly, the current Western interest in Hong Kong films, particularly martial arts films, stems from many films produced by the Group. Orange Sky Jiahe holds an important position in the Chinese-language film distribution market in Hong Kong, China. The Group is also actively purchasing high-quality independent film copyrights for distribution in the Asian region. Currently, Orange Sky Jiahe has a library of about 140 sets of films. Since opening its first cinema in Hong Kong, China in 1977, the Group has been committed to providing the audience with the best cinema experience. In 1992, the group revolutionized the Singaporean cinema industry, opening Asia's first multi-hall cinema with 10 cinemas in the region. Taipei Xinyi Weixiu Studios, a subsidiary of the Group, is the first building designed specifically for screening movies in Taiwan, China. Since opening in 1998, it has been an entertainment landmark in Taipei. In 2009, the Group opened its first fully digital cinema in Hong Kong, China.
