BYD destroyed them. So since they can't compete in China, Musk sucked off Coppertone Coward so they could still compete in US.
Too bad even without EV credit people still won't buy their garbage. Why would I ? Kia/Hyundai way better and cheaper options. Nissan has cheapest US EV right now (14k w/o credit), but it's ugly AF. VW ramping up to become the next Honda/Toyota since none of the US companies understand their own markets.
