Our history dates back to July 1974, when our first operating subsidiary, HKU Department Store, was incorporated in Hong Kong, China, and Mr. Zhu was one of the founding members and directors. In 1974, we began wholesale and retail a range of products (including footwear) in the local market in Hong Kong, China. In the 1900s, in line with our new business strategy, we began to focus on footwear wholesale and retail business. We have been purchasing from C&J Clark, and have had exclusive distribution rights for Clarks products in Hong Kong and Taiwan for over 20 years, and exclusive distribution rights for over 15 years in Macau, China. We have always had the exclusive distribution rights described above, and have gone through all the important moments without interruption. In the 2000s, we gradually developed our distribution network and expanded our sales business to Taiwan. Our main business is focused on the wholesale and retail of fashion and comfort footwear products from various international brands in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. As our business continues to grow, we opened our first chain store in Hong Kong, China under our own trade name “Shoe Culture”. In the same year, we opened our first Clarks store in Hong Kong, China. In order to introduce more fashionable and comfortable footwear into these markets, we obtained the right to distribute and sell German brand Josef Seibel footwear products from Josef Seibel GmbH in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, mainland China, Thailand and Malaysia in 2004. In 2005, we opened our second store chain under the “Shoe Mart” brand in Hong Kong, China, to attract customers with smaller budgets with a competitive pricing strategy. In 2012, we opened our third chain of stores in Hong Kong, China under the “SCOOPS” trade name, targeting the younger generation of customers.
