China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited (formerly China Resources Cement Holdings Limited) was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on March 13, 2003, under the Companies Law of the Cayman Islands as an exempted company, and serves as the holding company for China Resources Group's cement, concrete, and aggregate businesses. The Company was listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited by way of introduction on July 29, 2003. In 2006, the Company was privatized by China Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Shun Chong Investment Limited (now known as China Resources Group (Cement) Limited), with its shares delisted from the Stock Exchange on July 26, 2006. On October 6, 2009, the Company was relisted on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong through a global offering. On November 3, 2023, the Company changed its name from China Resources Cement Holdings Limited to China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited. As of the date of this report, the total number of issued shares of the Company stands at 6,982,937,817, of which China Resources Group holds approximately 68.72% of the Company's issued share capital.
