Kelington Group Bhd is seeing a revival in its share price after falling from its 52-week high of RM3.71 in July. The recent heightened interest in the construction and engineering firm was after the company told analysts it has strong job prospects.
Kelington’s tender book jumped by RM1 billion after bidding for an ultra high purity (UHP) gas job for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd’s plant in Germany.

RHB Research optimistic about Kelington Group's industrial gas growth potential

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Investment Bank Bhd (RHB Research) said it remains optimistic about Kelington Group Bhd's industrial gas (IG) business growth potential with increasing demands from Oceania, Africa, and Indonesian markets.
The bank noted that while its ultra-high purity (UHP) projects continue to be the company's mainstay at 70 per cent of revenue, the IG segment is now the second largest contributor at 13 per cent....

KGB: Will it continue fly?

The recent QR shows a 4% yoy increase in the bottom line, despite a reduction in revenue, achieving 33m PAT. This improvement is attributed to a higher margin resulting from a favorable UHP business mix and industrial gas. The latest quarter achieved an 11% margin, higher than the historical average of 5%-7%.
Exclusing one-off fx loss 6.7m, the net profit is around 38m, margin could goes even higher to 12%-13%.
