AB Builders Expects Profit Surge in First Half of 2024
ab builders (01615.HK) YINGXI: Expected mid-term after-tax profit of 1 million to 3 million Macau dollars.
Glory8 announced on August 21 that ab builders (01615.HK) expects the group to record a post-tax surplus of between 1 million Macanese patacas and 3 million Macanese patacas for the six months ended June 30, 2024, while the net loss for the six months ended June 30, 2023 is approximately 10 million Macanese patacas. The announcement stated that the significant improvement in performance is mainly due to (i) an increase in gross profit due to higher profit margins on completed decoration projects and subsequent processing projects, despite a decrease in total revenue as of June 30, 2024; and (ii) an increase in other income (such as interest income).
