We are a long-established and extensive Canadian travel company founded in 1976 and have been in business for over 40 years. Our main business includes (i) ticket distribution, where we distribute tickets to travel companies and travelers and issue tickets directly on behalf of airlines; (ii) travel business process management that provides mid-tier and back-end support services to travel companies; and (iii) sales of tours and other travel products and services designed and developed by us to travel companies and travelers. We are the main agent in the Canadian ticket distribution market. According to the insight report, based on sales volume in 2016, we ranked in the top three in the Canadian air ticket distribution market, with a market share of about 29.6%. We are accredited by the Canadian International Air Transport Association as one of the travel agents of the U.S. ARC, making us eligible to obtain ticketing rights to issue tickets for all offered flights (origin and destination) on behalf of IATA member airlines and ARC member airlines and obtain personal ticket transactions directly from them. As of the last practical date, we have ticketing rights to over 170 airlines and obtained private fare deals with over 70 airlines, including major carriers based in Canada, the US and China. Our sales performance remained strong throughout our track record period. We sold approximately 436,000 tickets, 606,000 tickets, 861,000 tickets and 540,000 tickets for the years ending 31 December 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the six months ended June 30, 2017, respectively, equivalent to total sales of approximately HK$2,790.7 million, HK$3,095.1 million, HK$3,755.0 million and HK$2,054.1 million, respectively. We are one of the top travel companies providing travel business process management in Canada. According to the insight report, in terms of service revenue in 2016, we ranked in the top three in the Canadian travel business process management market, with a market share of about 14.2%. We launched the provision of travel business process management in 2007 and have gradually expanded to provide a range of business process management services, including ticket transaction processing, customer communications, BSP/ARC settlement and reconciliation, software development, travel licensing and compliance matters, and other administrative matters. We believe travel business process management providers (like us) play a key role in providing travel companies with options to run non-core business processes in a cost-effective manner and so that travel companies can focus on their core competencies. As of the last practical date, we have provided travel business process management to 13 travel companies, including several world-renowned brands. We also provide tours and other travel products and services to tour companies and travelers. Tours can be reclassified into group tours and coach tours, which generally include pre-arranged flights or coaches, hotel accommodations, and local transportation, sightseeing and other activity arrangements. Other travel products and services mainly include other travel products and services such as customized tours, flight and hotel packages, hotel accommodation, admission tickets to tourist attractions, car rental, travel insurance, and visa applications. In our 40 years of operation, we have developed a range of tours to over 200 cities in over 40 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America. We believe the diverse range of products and services we provide allows us to make more effective use of our internal resources and meet the diverse needs of Canadian travel and tourism industry participants.
