Grandshores Technology (01647.HK) announced on November 8 that the group is expected to record a loss of approximately 3,000,000 Singapore dollars for the six-month period ending on September 30, 2024, while the loss for the previous period amounted to about 1,600,000 Singapore dollars. The board of directors believes that the increase in losses is mainly attributed to the following factors: (i) a decrease in government grants received during this period; and (ii) the foreign exchange gains from the previous period turned into foreign exchange losses in this period due to exchange rate fluctuations.
