On October 18, Gaodi Holdings (01676.HK) announced that the company plans to raise up to 30.8 million Hong Kong dollars (excluding expenses) through a rights issue to shareholders. The rights issue is non-underwritten, involving a maximum of 77.005 million shares issued at 0.40 Hong Kong dollars per share subscription price. The basis is for every two (2) shares held on the record date, one (1) share will be issued as a rights issue share. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the rights issue as follows: (i) approximately 40% of the net proceeds will be used for goods procurement/deposits, market promotion and advertising expenses, and the existing food business of the group.
