HPC Holdings (01742.HK) announced on June 28 that the group's revenue for the six months ended April 30, 2024, fell by 48.21% year-on-year, from about 167.73 million Singapore dollars to about 86.86 million Singapore dollars. The decline in revenue was due to the fact that most of the major projects under construction were still in their early stages, resulting in less construction activity during the midterm period than in the past (including a large project that was under tight schedule). During the midterm period, the net profit after tax was about 644,000 Singapore dollars, compared to about 1.94 million Singapore dollars in the past period.
