CGN Renewable Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (“CGN New Energy” for short) (formerly CGN Meiya Electric Power Holdings Co., Ltd.) is an Asian independent power producer with diverse power types and geographical distribution. Our asset portfolio includes wind, solar, gas, coal, fuel, hydropower, cogeneration and fuel cell power projects and a steam project located in China and Korea. In November 2010, CGN Group Co., Ltd. “CGN” acquired all of the company's share capital through CGN Huamei Investment Co., Ltd., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of CGN, and became our controlling shareholder. CGN is a wholly owned state-owned company established on September 29, 1994, in accordance with Chinese law. Authorized by the State Council in accordance with China's Company Law and other administrative regulations, the State-owned Assets Administration Commission has investor rights and responsibilities in CGN. We focus on acquiring clean and renewable energy power generation projects while continuing to develop our own new construction and expansion to deliver solid returns and create shareholder value. We are positioned as the world's only platform for CGN to develop and operate non-nuclear clean and renewable energy power generation projects. The Group was successfully approved to acquire the first batch of clean and renewable energy project assets from CGN in 2015, including 13 wind power project companies and 6 solar project companies, with a total operating capacity of about 1,400 megawatts. The acquisition adds high-quality wind power and solar assets to the Group's portfolio, further highlights the Group's advantages as the only non-nuclear clean and renewable energy power generation project platform for CGN, and enhances the Group's competitiveness.
